Fake voters in ARMM CONFIRMED, Tricia Laurel

THE camp of former Sulu Governor Abdusakur “Sakur” Tan formally filed on Monday a motion before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to nullify election results in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) after it was proven that almost 80% of the voters in the provinces of Maguindanao, Lanao Del Sur and Basilan in the May 2016 polls were all fake.
According to Tan, based on the forensic examination conducted, the thumbprints of the registered voters did not match the actual voters in the 2016 polls in the three provinces covered by ARMM.

In an interview, Tan said it was unfair for the ARMM citizens to be led by a fake governor. Tan ran for regional governor and currently has a pending protest before the Comelec against Mujiv Hataman.

Meanwhile, former Comelec chairman Sixto Brillantes confirmed the claims of Tan.

Brilliantes said the voters last 2016 election were not all registered voters or the so-called “substitute voters” which often occur in Mindanao.

The former poll chief added that from the 67,000 thumbprints that they examined, 40,000 were proven to be fake.

“Kaya dapat nang ideklarang null and void ang katumbas na bilang ng mga boto sa ARMM,” he stressed.

Brillantes is now the counsel of Tan against Hataman.

“Noon pa man ay mayroon nang balak na mandaya ang administrasyong Aquino at kung ilang beses din akong pinigilan na labanan si Hataman alinsunod sa bilin ni dating Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo,” Tan revealed.

He said that in a meeting with former DILG Sec. Mar Roxas and AFP, PNP and Department of Defense (DND) officials, former President Noynoy Aquino threatened that he would personally go to Sulu to eliminate Tan’s whole family if he would not withdraw his candidacy.

“Hindi lalaki kausap si Noynoy at walang isang salita,” said Tan.

He charged that Aquino even sent some officials of West Mincom (Western Mindanao Command) and told his child, “masyadong matigas ang ulo ng tatay mo, baka madamay ka.”

Because of this threat, Tan said he confronted the said officials and uttered “kahit i-firing squad ni’yo ako, hindi ako magwi-withdraw.”
